While stuck inside during the lock-down I have had some time to experiment on personal projects and get together some more teaching materials for uni...this fella is one of the results...sculpted in Z-brush and then rendered in Arnold.
I'm particularly proud of the muddy dirt I made, its just a simple plane with some bumps and texture refinement with High Displacement but I think it works great . Arnold is a great renderer :) and it's still pretty quick.
As part of my development process I always make a basic rig and experiment with facial expressions to see how the creature might develop here are some pretty basic moves to see how well it works
